Manual CAD Drafting for Floorplan Submissions

The Manual CAD Drafting Service

The engineering team at Connect802 can create or modify standard AutoDesk AutoCAD drawings (.dwg file format) if necessary to meet the requirements for Predictive RF CAD Design or for the creation of non-CAD Installer's Working Plans from unscaled drawings.

A charge for Manual CAD Drafting may apply in several circumstances:

  • A Connect802 Predictive RF CAD Design is being developed for a project an no usable AutoCAD .dwg drawing files are provided
  • A Connect802 Predictive RF CAD Design is being developed for a project however the generally usable AutoCAD .dwg drawing files provided require adjustment and modification
  • Installer's Working Plans are being created for a project and there is no scaled floorplan image, in any format, for the building or site

 
         
Scaled drawing images (PDF, JPG, scanned TIFF, etc.) can be used for non-CAD designs but must be re-drawn in AutoCAD for incorporation into the Predictive RF CAD Modeling and Simulation software system.
Notice the hand-written scale on the right and bottom. This drawing could be the basis of a non-CAD design but would require Manual CAD Drafting for incorporation into an RF Predictive CAD design.

Because this drawing is not a scaled representation of the space it requires Manual CAD Drafting to create a scaled floorplan. Manual CAD Drafting would be required for both non-CAD and RF CAD designs.
